Preparations are underway for Bakerview Music Academy’s annual fundraising gala, which this year is themed Love is in the Air.

Guests will be entertained by our talented teaching artists, students, and special guests as we spread love through the power of music.

Proceeds go to support our nonprofit academy, which is a member organization of the Sistema Canada Network.

Since 2013, Bakerview Music Academy (BMA) has offered fully funded after-school group music lessons for youth grades two to 12 in Abbotsford, BC. We are funded entirely by grants and donations.

Our mission is to build up Abbotsford youth by making music together. Countless studies demonstrate that children who take music lessons perform better academically and socially. Often cost is a barrier, particularly for young people from underserved communities. We are proud that BMA levels the playing field.

This night of live music also features a buffet of savory hors d’oeuvres and gourmet desserts, a silent auction, and celebration in the hall at The Gathering Church, 2285 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.

All ages are welcome. Parking is free.
