At Bakerview Music Academy, musicianship class emphasizes cooperation, artistry, and creativity. Our teaching artists educate our Sistema students in music theory and rhythm by using interactive games, worksheets, and percussion instruments from hand drums to xylophones. Our students learn to create patterns and make up their own music to play together. Musicianship teaches our students foundational music literacy, which sets them up for success in strings and choir.
