Our theme is Walk with Music & Gratitude. \nWe’re meeting at picnic shelter #3\, which is accessed via the Emerson Street entrance (not too far from the water park). \nCollect pledges (donations) for our nonprofit music academy. Here’s the BMA Walkathon Donation Pledge Form Fall 2024. \nIf you can’t walk with us but want to support the academy with a donation\, you can donate to BMA securely online here (and your tax receipt will be immediately emailed to you).

This night of live music also features a buffet of savory hors d’oeuvres and gourmet desserts\, a silent auction\, and celebration in the hall at The Gathering Church\, 2285 Clearbrook Road\, Abbotsford\, BC. All ages are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a beautiful night of choral and orchestral music by our talented Sistema students! \nThis evening will feature a work by Elder Mary Fontaine called “Kinan’askom’tinan.” This means\, “we honour or praise you for the arts”–  that is why we sing\, we pray\, and we dance. \nThis beautiful and mindful song has\, with the permission of Elder Mary\, been arranged especially for us by Juno-nominated composer Timothy Corlis. We were able to undertake this project with the support of a SiriusXM Canada and MusiCounts grant that our dedicated Board Member Nicole Farrington spear-headed for us.
